Taomee Holdings Limited

In June 2011, Saban Capital Group acquired a minority stake in Taomee Holdings Limited (NYSE: TAOM) as the cornerstone investor in Taomee's initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. In conjunction with the transaction, Saban Capital Group received an observer seat on Taomee's Board of Directors.

Taomee is China's leading children's online entertainment company. Taomee owns and operates four of the six most visited virtual worlds for children in China, including the hit Seer and Mole's World franchises. Taomee also produces and distributes animated films and television series based on its online properties, and licenses the characters and properties from its virtual worlds for book publishing, apparel, toys and consumer products. Taomee is based in Shanghai.
